Little Red Riding-Hood Rhyme by Roald Dahl with Mora and Nina

As a homework we were asked to read Roald Dahl’s revolting rhymes and in class answer some questions about our favorite. If you are interested and want to read them, here I’ll leave you the link.

We have chosen Little Red Riding-Hood because of the courage that is shown by her in the rhyme, and also for its really unexpected and comic ending. In case you haven’t read it, this rhyme is about a girl who arrives at her grandma’s and what she doesn’t know is that the one who is waiting for her, IS NOT her grandma, but a wolf!

In the real story, she was saved by the hunter, and in this version, she kills the wolf herself and makes a coat of it. One similarity, is that she mentioned  like ‘What great ears you have, grandma’ , but she actually forgot to say ‘What big teeth you have’ and the wolf reminded her of it.

Cloak= a sleeveless outdoor overgarment that hangs loosely from the shoulders. Example: It was so cold that I had to put my cloak on.

Knickers= a woman’s or girl’s undergarment Example: She took the pistol from her knickers.
